Day 1 - Anchorage
Enjoy an extensive tour of Alaska's Largest City

As you travel from Seward to Anchorage, you will enjoy stunning views of mountains and the waters of Turnagain Arm. There will be plenty of opportunities to see wildlife in the air, on land, and in the water - so be sure to keep your camera and binoculars handy.

Lake Hood is the largest float plane airport in the world. You will not only have the opportunity to see planes taking off and landing, but we have arranged an exclusive visit to one of their hangers for a closer look. With very few roads in the interior, this is the primary means of transportation. Discover Alaska makes sure you experience the real Alaska.

Discover Alaska will take you to the Alaska Native Heritage Center. The Welcome House is a celebration of contemporary Alaska Native cultures while the outdoor facilities and sites allow the exploration of ancient tradition and the presentation of stories from the past. This Center provides a unique opportunity to experience Alaska's many diverse Native cultures at one location.

You will spend the night at the outstanding Sheraton or Marriott Downtown Hotel. Lunch will be provided at the Sourdough Mining Company and dinner at the Snow Goose Restaurant & Sleeping Lady Brewing Company.

Day 2 - Sightseeing Train to Denali
Traveling through the heart of the uninhabited interior

For hours you will see no roads or building - only the stunning and rugged vistas of Alaska's wild interior. Keep your camera and binoculars handy.

Lunch will be cooked to order in the train's onboard galley so you can enjoy your meal as you continue to watch the breath-taking scenery roll by.

Spend an unforgettable night at the Grand Denali Lodge with stunning views in all directions.

Discover Alaska includes a fabulous dinner experience at Cabin Night, where your servers become the entertainers and you take part in the fun.

Day 3-Denali Park Natural History Tour
Understanding this remarkable National Park

After breakfast at the resort, enjoy your guided motorcoach tour looking for wildlife and learning about this incredible National Park. Your tour is followed
by lunch at Prospector's Historic Alehouse.

A luxury motorcoach will take you to Fairbanks, giving opportunities to stop if wildlife are sighted.

Enjoy the Alaska Railroad Museum in Nenana where President Harding drove the golden spike at this very depot. This brief stop gives you another glimpse of the real Alaska.

Your accommodations for the next two nights are at the Wedgewood Resort surrounded by a wildlife refuge and miles of hiking trails. Dinner this evening is at the Wedgewood Resort's restaurant.

Day 4 - Fairbanks
A very full day of Alaska culture, history, food & FUN!

Visit the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Then enjoy a trip through Alaska's gold mining history at Gold Dredge No. 8. After a short course in gold mining, grab your own "poke" filled with pay dirt right out of a sluice box and try your hand at panning for gold. Everyone finds gold. We guarantee it!
You will enjoy lunch at Fairbank's most popular restaurant The Pumphouse.

Next board the Riverboat Discovery for a cruise on the Chena and Tenana Rivers. You will stop for a sled dog demonstration and at a reproduction Athabascan Indian camp where you will learn about Native culture.

End your busy day with an Alaskan Salmon Bake featuring Salmon, Cod, Prime Rib and all the fixin's. After dinner is the "Golden Heart Revue" at the Palace Theatre. This show is recognized by the Alaska Visitor's Association as "the number one show throughout Alaska and Canada." This revue is a lighthearted, musical, and comic look at the colorful characters from early and present day Fairbanks, the golden heart of Alaska.
