Summit McKinley Flight
Fly completely around Mt. McKinley and continue right up over the top of its towering summit for a one-of-kind Alaska experience. River Rafting - Canyon Run
Hang on! It's whitewater ahead! You'll get splashed and enjoy every minute of this 11 mile, Class III-IV whitewater adventure on the Nenana River. Your experienced guides will navigate through such rapids as "Razorback," "Two Rocks" and "Cable Car" while you enjoy the ride and take in the stunning scenery.

Tundra Mountain Golfing
Experience a unique golfing excursion high in the mountains of Alaska. The Black Diamond Golf Course boasts a 9 hole rugged links course with spectacular views and is located next to a serene mountain lake. The package tour includes roundtrip transfers from your hotel, greens fees, clubs, power cart and a souvenir logo bag filled with tees, a logo ball, scorecard, ball marker, logo towel and as many playing balls you will need to finish your round.

This tour will operate regardless of weather. Course was built on limited top soil. While a bit rough it is fun to play.

 

 




Steps through time - Interpretive Hike
Experience the concept of wilderness by stepping away from the developed area and immersing yourself in the tranquility of a hike through the forest. This guided hike will set you on the trail of discovery as your certified guide interprets many of the unique natural attributes of the area. Follow the trail of frontier hunters on the way to an old hunting cabin and take in some of the spectacular scenery on this invigorating hike. The trail offers some great overlooks of the Nenana River valley. This is a moderately strenuous hike.

Notes:
Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and be prepared for any weather. This is a more strenuous hike than the Rock Creek Trail tour. Be prepared for uneven surfaces and some non-compact trails.

 

 

 

 

Triple Lakes Trail - Interpretive Hike
The Triple Lakes Trail inside Denali National Park offers visitors one of the best opportunities for a serene immersion into the boreal forest of Interior Alaska. This adventure, on an improved trail inside Denali National Park begins with a gradual and consistent hill climb providing spectacular views of the Nenana River and the expansive glacially-carved Yanert Valley. The trail then descends and levels off to provide access to the three alpine lakes that give this trail its name. Beautiful views of the lakes, bounded by the elevated ridges, make for some outstanding photo opportunities. The lakes are abundant with arctic grayling and also home to resident beavers. Moose enjoy the sheltered valley and other small mammals are abundant increasing the opportunity for wildlife viewing. Countless wildflowers can be seen on the hillsides adjacent to the trails and wild blueberries are abundant in August. This is a "must do" hike for any Denali visitor desiring to experience some solitude. This hike is rated as moderately strenuous due to the reasonably steep ascent at the onset of this hike. Only avid hikers with appropriate conditioning and footwear should consider this option. The round trip for this hike is approximately 4 miles and the estimated duration is 3-3.5 hours. Two person minimum is required.

River Rafting - Wilderness Run
Take time to enjoy the scenery on this mild whitewater excursion along 13 miles of the Class I-II Upper Nenana River. Let your experienced guide share their knowledge of the wildlife and natural history of the area as you sit and enjoy this 13 mile excursion through a meandering glacial valley.

All guests are required to wear socks and have the capability to access rafts at water level as well as grasp paddle throughout tour. All river gear, including commercial drysuits are provided. River Rafting - Paddle Run
If you're physically fit and ready for some moderate exercise, then grab a paddle and 'dig in' for an exhilarating ride down the Class III-IV Nenana River Canyon. Our experienced paddle captains will instruct you on the dynamics of paddle rafting. Then you'll follow their commands as you power through the waves.

Black Diamond ATV Adventure
Join your guide as you drive a 4-wheel All Terrain Vehicle on a truly exciting journey! Your adventure begins with safety training and riding information. Next, your guide will fit you with a helmet, safety glasses and gloves before you head off for your ride. This experience takes you back on old coal mining trails and spills you out onto the Dry Creek riverbed where Athabascan Indian artifacts have been found in archaeological digs. Soak in the mountain scenery as you head up high on Black Diamond Peak for views of the Healy Valley. Bring your camera as photo opportunities abound.

Guests wishing to drive are required to have a valid driver's license. Minimum age to drive is 16 years. It is recommended that guests dress in layers. During inclement weather rain gear (if needed) and helmets are provided. This tour requires no previous experience and can be enjoyed by all. This tour will operate regardless of weather.

These ATV's are covered, have seatbelts and can accommodate up to 5 people in addition to your driver/guide. This is a perfect tour for families. It is recommended that guests dress in layers and be prepared for all types of weather. Rain Gear and gloves will be provided to each guest for use on this tour. Each ATV will be given a GPS and Maps. This tour operates regardless of weather. For adults, this tour includes up to two glasses or beer or wine per person.

 

 

Covered Wagon Adventure with Backcountry Dining
Relax and journey into the woods of Alaska while being pulled by draft horses in a comfortable covered wagon. Your guide will tell you stories of the area's coal mining history and entertain you with local folklore, facts and more. At our covered pavilion enjoy a relaxing meal freshly prepared with only the finest ingredients by our entertaining staff. You will have time to look around the area before heading back. Be sure to bring your camera and be on the look out for wildlife.

Guests must climb 3 steps into Wagon. It is suggested that guests be prepared for any type of weather. Please dress in layers.

 

 

 

Denali Jeep Backcountry Safari
You and your fellow adventurers will take the wheel of 4-wheel-drive Jeep Wranglers® and follow your guide on a spectacular off-road journey on the edge of Denali National Park. Your destination is the Stampede Road. The first few miles are paved, but beyond this point your guide will lead you along some very primitive roadway providing you with plenty of bumps and dips and sways. Your Jeep Wrangler® carries four guests, and there will be ample opportunity to switch drivers so everyone aged 25 years and older with a driver's license can enjoy the thrill of maneuvering along this wilderness road. Interactive two-way radios allow your guide to explain the area's rich history, point out interesting sights along the way, plus provide tips on the condition of the road ahead! Throughout the trip, you'll be able to ask the guide questions and share the experience with your fellow drivers. You will enjoy a hearty Alaskan snack on this tour.

Notes:
Minimum age is 5 years. Minimum weight is 40 lbs. Drivers must be at least 25 years old, present a valid driver's license and sign a liability / insurance waiver. Jeep Wranglers is automatic transmission and can carry up to four passengers per vehicle. There will be ample time to switch drivers so that everyone interested in driving will have the opportunity. A booster seat will be required for all children under 4'9". If needed, our local tour operator have booster seats available for guest use.

 

 

 

Wilderness Living Adventure & Dog Cart Ride
How did the hunters, trappers, and woodsmen of old travel and live in the wilderness of Alaska? This tour is an exciting and fun filled soft adventure that provides a look at this life style, both past and present. At a river side camp visit with and learn from Alaskans that make their living and raise their families in the wilderness near Denali. Your hosts are hunters, trappers and woodsmen who will share stories, tales and a few tricks about their lives in this remote part of Alaska. See a presentation of what winters are like in Denali, enjoy a snack at the camp and have an opportunity to photograph Caribou up close. Then head down the road to the dog cart ride. Powerful racing dogs will pull your cart on a rustic trail as you watch for views of Mt. McKinley (weather permitting) before returning to your hotel.

Denali Glacier Landing by Helicopter
Explore the beautiful Yanert Glacier at the base of Mt. Deborah. This Glacier Expedition tour leads you to the breathtaking Ice Falls in Yanert Valley. Guests will be required to navigate 2 steps into helicopter. Flight is 20 minutes each direction and 20 minutes on the glacier. Children need to be 2 or older and require their own seat.

 

 

 

Discover Denali Flightseeing
Enjoy a flightseeing trip that offers views of Denali National Park that are simply unimaginable from the ground. Each trip around the mountain originates from our private airstrip in the scenic Yanert valley and parallels the Alaska Range all the way to Mt. McKinley. This flight provides up-close views of the rugged glacial beauty of the Alaska Range and Denali National Park. Flexible routing allows your pilot to provide the best views (over 90% of passengers see Mt. McKinley) even on days when the mountain is not visible from the road. Each tour is fully narrated through individual headphones and all seats are window seats.

Maximum weight is 400 lbs. Guests will be required to walk 50 yards and climb 4 steps to access aircraft. Children under 2 can travel on the laps of their parents. Children over 2 years will require their own seat.

 

 

 

Denali Heli-Hiking by Helicopter
Join the adventure of a lifetime on a popular Heli-hiking tour. Located just outside the Denali National Park boundaries, the Yanert Valley hiking area offers low to moderate hiking along a tundra ridgeline, and spectacular vistas of Alaska. You are dropped off after a short helicopter flight to the open wilderness of Alaska's backcountry. View the flora and fauna of the area with your professional guide and possibly spot wildlife in its natural habitat. Includes small snack, bottled water, and limited outdoor gear as needed. (You must have proper foot wear to do this tour.)

Minimum age is 2 years. Maximum weight is 400 lbs. Guests will be required to navigate 2 steps into helicopter. All participants must have proper foot wear for this tour as guest will be navigating uneven ground on this tour. Closed toed shoes or boots are required. It is also recommended that guests dress in layers (should include warm jacket). Operator will provide overboots and additional raingear or gloves if needed. Children need to be 2 or older and require their own seat.

 

 

Denali Excursion by Helicopter
This Denali Excursion offers an aerial view of Denali National Park and North America's highest peak, Mt. McKinley. Soar over this spectacular 6-million acre preserve and see a hanging glacier, the Polychrome Mountains, and weather permitting, the majestic Mt. McKinley. During inclement weather an alternate tour route will take you over the Yanert Glacier where you will fly over glacier carved valleys rich with Denali wildlife.

Guests will be required to navigate 2 steps into helicopter. Flight time is approximately 35 minutes. Children need to be 2 or older and require their own seat.

 

 

Denali Fly Fishing for Arctic Grayling (Half Day)
On this half-day trip, anglers will learn the basics of fly casting, how to match the hatch, landing fish and catch-and-release techniques for Arctic grayling. Fishing is on local streams and will vary depending on conditions. Some walking over uneven terrain is involved including wading in moving water. No fly fishing experience is needed however you must be able to walk and wade a minimum of a half mile. Transportation and all gear is included.

Notes:
Please bring $20 cash for your one day Alaska fishing license. All fishing gear, flies, rain jackets and hip waders are included. It is also suggested that guests bring extra socks, bug repellant and your camera. Dress in layers and be prepared for any weather.

 

 

 

McKinley Glacier Landing by Airplane
Land on a glacier on Mt. McKinley and experience the Ice Age! Your flight seeing tour includes views of both the North and South sides of Mt. McKinley, including the Wickersham Wall and the Don Sheldon Amphitheater. You will fly past steep walls of rock and ice, with azure-blue glacier melt-ponds, blue ice, and glacier moraines below. Experience the thrill of landing on one of Mt. McKinley's glaciers where you can throw snowballs, take pictures, and enjoy the wilderness beauty and vastness of Denali National Park. This flight lands on Mt. McKinley and includes a fully-narrated tour. All guests have a window seat and interactive headsets.

Notes:
On this tour guests will need to step into and out of a small aircraft door and navigate a short distance on the glacier. Children under two may ride on their parents laps. Children over 2 are required to have their own seat. All guests will be required to have proper footwear (closed toed shoes/hiking boots) and warm layered clothing. Tour operator will provide overboots as needed. Landings are based on weather conditions at time of flight.
